Josh’s interest in health and fitness started at an early age with his passion for martial arts and long distance running. He has been involved in helping others with their health and wellness needs since 1997. He began his studies in Reflexology, Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture at the Holt School of Natural Healing where he developed an interest in Rehabilitation.

From 1998 to 2001, Josh worked in a pain clinic treating a variety of orthopaedic and neuropathic conditions. In addition to treating, he was an assistant teacher in pain management workshops teaching Non-Invasive Electro-Acupuncture to other Healthcare Practitioners.

In 2001, Josh resumed his studies and by 2006 had obtained Diplomas in Fitness & Lifestyle Management, Registered Massage Therapy (RMT) as well as Bachelor Degrees in Physical Education and History from Laurentian University. During his studies, Josh worked at the YMCA where he continued to work with and treat a variety of conditions and populations.

In 2006, Josh began to study the Treatment and Assessment Methodologies of Applied Kinesiology while continuing to practice Therapeutic Massage. Today, Josh’s practice focuses on identifying a patients “weak links” and correcting them with a combination of manual therapy techniques and remedial exercise.

When he is not treating patients, Josh spends his time with his son, or running through the trails with his dogs Scout and Calla.
